PCI Express PCIE ports

Would anyone in the forum have an idea when PCIE motherboards are due to come out?
I'm looking to build a new system, but don't want to spend $250+ on a graphics card since the new PCIE format is supposed to double the speed (in theory) of AGP. B/c of that, I've been waiting for the new format to come out, but getting antsy.
Has anyone had a chance to demo any of these, or know if there is truth to the new format?

All the hype about PCI Express seemed to die out a while ago. Try looking on the National Inquirer site, they seem to have alot of news on stuff like that.

Really? Wow, I just assumed. I've never bothered to go to either site myself. Good luck finding out about PCI Express.
