I'm looking for the plastic inserts that are used for porting subwoofer boxes. I saw them advertized at frozencpu as "fan ducts", but they seem awfully expensive there. Any ideas on where I can find these locally or cheaper online? Thanks.

I got some from www.speakerhole.com , but it appears to be down or closed at the moment. I picked up a bunch of those canholder inserts for things like boats a while back (they were being tossed, several boxes of them). They make decent ports in sub boxes if you cut the bottom off (also would work as a fan duct)

My brother owns a car stereo shop and he gets most of his box building parts from www.partsexpress.com
partsexpress should be the place to go. As a fellow Mainer, I have looked around, trying to find speaker ports, and for some inexplicable reason, we don't have them. Lol, you'd think that one of the car audio installation places would have them, but I had no luck there either.

There's what you're looking for.
