so my Ti4200 decides to stop working all of a sudden but it is still under warranty so i was looking on abit's site on how to rma it and found this. http://www.abit-usa.com/services/rma/faq.php
read number 7 for sure. I cannot believe all that they make you do. I am wondering if it is worth my time to do all that and get it fixed? What happened to just the rma form, you get the rma number, send it out and get it fixed.
A friend of mine just got a new ATI card and it was broke. he got the rma number sent it out and they fixed it and then they sent it back to him. Easy and the way it should be.

they give u a videocard..then u send ur broken one in...and they need that 150 to make sure u dont go and run off with 2 videocards...i like this better than having to send in a videocard and wait for them to fix it.

Last time I RMA'd to Abit, I just sent the motherboard in and waited for it to come back before I got my gaming rig back on its feet. You don't have to cross-ship. Go to their online-rma center and fill out the forms and you'll get an RMA number to ship with it. Otherwise, if you want the card NOW, then you get what you pair for. I would just send it in and wait for the turnaround (about 3 weeks) after doing an online RMA request. I just went bike riding or something, not like I can't find other things to do while waiting :)
