I get that when my computer crashes when over clocked :)

your BIOS reset them self basically, what to do now is determin why that happened. You should be able to reconfigure the bios to the last stable OC.

if you would post a little more about your system and configuration im sure we could help you out a bit more

That's what it would be if it were running at 66MHz FSB.

Something is definitely wrong somewhere.

What motherboard do you have?

um...well... have a GA-6VXE7+ Via apollo pro family AGPset. It can take PIII 500mhz - 1GHZ and faster (sounds promising). It can also take Celeron and Cyrix. FSB up to 150mhz. frequency up to x10 (at 7.5 now). next time you need to know somthing be more specific please...

I just got a PIII 1Ghz (100Mhz with S code SL4KL) slot 1 yesterday and put it onto my old Be6II with BEHXU bios. Strange thing is this bios doesnt have the setting for PIII 1Ghz (100Mhz) instead it only got setting for PIII 1Ghz (133Mhz) only so I set it to 100 x 10 manually and voila it boot into win2k PRO with no problem. After running the burnin test for 5 hrs I OC it 1100 (1.7v) and 1150 (1.75V) totally stable with no heat problem ( I have a Peltier + Alpha fans setup). I was hoping that I can OC this CPU to 1.2Ghz -1.3Ghz since I used to have the same set up on a 550E@800 so I know there is no problem with my RAM. Anyone can get this CPU to post at 1200 or more or maybe I need to burn it in more at 1150, I really disappointed with this CPU because it wont go any higher....I have the same problem when I set it to 120 x 10 =1200 then it wont even post at all until I turn the POWER button behind the power supply off for 5 mins then it will post back up then the BIOS read it at PIII667 CPU....Anyone know a special setting to get it to run at 1200 please let me know..
THANKS
My system is:
BE6II with BEHXU bios
PIII 1Ghz Slot1 @1150=115x10 running with Alpha+Peltier setup
2 x 30GB IMB ATA66 HD
Asus V7100 GF2 MX
MX300 sound card
NIC
Asus CDrom, YAMAHA burner

that's your bios default setting when your computer fails to boot due to improper frequency settings. it assumes that your chip will boot at a this frquency setting. it does this so your guaranteed to boot and you can "fix" your "mistake." no big deal, it just means you went to far, back it down and try to boot again. you hit your brick wall. increased voltage may help it boot, but make sure you have good cooling if you up the voltage.
