Ok, Iam going to set up a new system and I noticed that their motherboards need extra power imputs besides the ATX 20pin connector? What other power imput do I need to use?

It's a 4 pin 12v connector. I think most power supplies come with one, I know my Enermax did. Even some non-Athlon 64 mobos are using the extra connector though, Barton and P4 boards use it.

My manual for my Chaintech nForce3 mobo I got for my A64 says that an ATX PSU should come with the required connector. It stated it like it is common run-of-the-mill.

if u dont have one can get an adapter from compusa, microcenter or computer shop.that way u dont have to get a new ps.should cost about 5 dollars.
