sorry but i dont think you will be getting very far with taht 1GHZ p3.
the multiplier is very high and tht is also very close to the max a P3 core can do.
the 700E was the last great overclocking champ for teh P3 line fo chips

First make sure sideband is disabled in registry directions are in the tips section, [videocard performance] also make sure your memory in BIOS is set to minus clock speed and also try cas3 if you do get stability try cas 2 as you will get better bandwidth. Also we need to know your temps if your temps under full load are under 35C then you need to up your CV to your CPU, also go to www.rojakpot.com and go through there BIOS guide and set up your BIOS for stability. More of these CPU's will go higher then where your at then the ones that dont make it but with these CPU's you need quality ram and cool temps to get a good overclock and you will also need to get a small HSF for your northbridge get a CPU HSF that will fit and use thermal compound in the center and 4 drops of superglue in the corners to hold it in place, also put a small HS on your clock generator. OH and make sure you have good case cooling. you should get to atleast 1200 with that CPU.

what is a NORTHBRIDGE? where is the CLOCK GENERATOR? and will a glue gun work, i understand that is a thermal something?

I sent you a email about both but do not use a glue gun to put the HSF on get some thermal compound at radioshack ands use 4 drops of soperglue in each corner. The glue in a glue gun will not transfer the heat very well so i would not do it.
