Please help; duplicate icons

Everytime I create a shortcut, or a new icon appears on the desktop, it makes another as well. If I delete one, they both go away. I have only one account, and guest is turned off. One thing I noticed is, under documents and settings, it has "all users" and then "Justin Neese" (or mine), well all my settings are in mine right? except the icons, they go to all users instead of my account.

such a weird problem
but if 1 in all users folder then it should appear on yours and you wont need a copy on your account
if you have just on yours then other users won't see it

try move the icon from x:\doc and settin\all users\desktop to your x:\doc and settin\you\desktop

or did u try that already?

I tried everything, but i reformated like a month ago when I posted this post, little late but thanks anyway.
