Hey guys, I've been browsing the forums for a while and I finally decided to join in the fun!
However, I would like to ask you to help me further overclock my rig. I am currently @ 200x11 @ 1.70V, the basic AMD O/C. Now here is the problem, when I try to up the Multi. to 11.5, I get an error at Prime95 after about 3mins. I tried to up the Vcore to 1.75 or down the FSB to 199, but it still gives me the same error: "Rounding was 0.5, Expected less than 0.4" or something like that.

Here's my config:

Barton 2800+ @ 200x11 (Here is the stepping: AQUCA 0308MPMW) @ 1.70V.
Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2.00.
2x512 Samsung PC3200, here are the timings: 8-3-3-2.5. They are TCC4 chips. I know, crappy memory... :(.
Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro @ 380/333 (crappy Etrontech memory :().
80 Gig Maxtor HD with 2meg cache.
120 Gig Maxtor HD with 8meg cache (both are in ATA133).
Advance 8725 with an Advance 400W PSU and 3 Case fans (1 Intake and 2 Exaust).
I got a Tt Volcano 11 @ 3200RPM on my CPU (38-39 Idle / 42-43 Load).
I'm doing 5661 at 3DMark2003 and 17086 at 3DMark01SE.

Why would upping the vdimm help? He's not overclocking his memory at all.

It could be that 2200Mhz is your cpu's sweet spot. Most cpus will overclock fairly linearly up to a point, then to get the cpu beyond that it takes more than previously required. So it could run 2.2Ghz fine at 1.7V but to make it to 2.3 might require 1.8V. Every cpu is different, so you have to test. Keep upping the volts by the smallest increment your bios supports. Once you get past your comfort level (it would be about 1.85V or >50C load temps for me), it's time to back off. Try to overclock your ram a little and find a spot somewhere between 2.2 and 2.3. Something like 205x11=2.255Ghz.

Ok I tried 205x11 and it withstood 8 hours of Prime95 (I used Blend) without any voltage modification. Next step is 210x11. I'll keep you guys informed.
Oh and I have another question: at 205x11, I get the same results as a 3200+ on Sandra. Is that normal?
