Windows installation problem

When installing xp-pro it says that a file could not be copied and to push enter to retry or esc to skip. The problem is that when I push any key on my keyboard nothing happens. I know the keyboard works because I was using it the whole time and now it just decided to not work. I unplugged it and re-plugged it and the lights flashed on but it still didn't work.

Most likely a RAM problem. Try a different stick of ram.

try different RAM settings different frequency, different output strength and whatever your other mobo options!
