There's an hour left.

I have the cash and would buy if he guaranteed it, so I emailed him. He's got 20 minutes to reply.

If understand unlocked intel cpus correctly you can only set the multiplier to the normal multiplier for the cpu or less. Dont really see any great advantage to this with a 933 cpu.

I know nothing about that, I just want them to reply to my message :)

Well, no reply to my email and the auction ended at $199.00 without making the reserve. That seller will try it again, I'm sure of that.

It's obviously a rouse, the buy it now is the exact cost for a new 933 P3 CPU and BE6 motherboard... that's not coincidence, the buyer will not reply to emails, and because of the amount can easily say the buyer got their money's worth, show ebay officials the cost for these items, and all will be looked over (as eBay needs selllers as much as it needs buyers since the sellers are their cash crop).

Hope I didn't overstate the sellers intentions, but as a legitimate eBay seller, I find it my duty to explain the corrpution I see in the ranks.

The seller is going to get a friendly email from a corporate security agent at Intel. I tried to sell a legit unlocked P4 on Ebay. I got a nice email from an agent at Intel. Intel and Ebay have some agreement where they look for these illegal sales. Intel was actually nice enough to exchange my engineering sample for a regular chip of the same speed. In return I offered to give them all the info I had about where I got the chip. Ebay is a bad place to try selling a confidential product. Maybe this guy just found out :)

Hold on, hold on, hold on.

You gave them back an Engineering Sample chip? Why? They would have to show up on my door with a warrant and a dozen really big guys to get that back from me. And then, MAYBE.

Do you knowwwww what intel values thoses chips at? 100 Mil last time I checked!.. I say to bad, its mineeeeeeee.... if you aquired it legaly, then I'd say it was a ruse and you had no chip... something.. anything.. perhap someone else posted the auction... I'm sure you coulda made up something :)

Damn I know I'd pay well for an unlocked p4... They read like an open book m'friend.
