Currently own GeForce4 TI4200(Leadtek).
I am considering a 9800Pro and leaning toward an ATI because I can buy it locally (don't have to RMA it if something is wrong "out of box"). Local price $249...plus sales tax.

Saphire one is cheaper(and no sales tax!) from Newegg...and from the looks appears to have better stock cooling.

How much drain do these cards add to a P.S.? Mine is a stock one that came with my case (Aspire X-Dreamer).

I heard(read) these cards run hot (always, or OC'd?).

Does the VGA Silencer I read about come with directions? I have not done a Heat-Sync Mod.

Yes the Silencer comes with instructions...one thing though...make sure your GPU is flush with the shim...if it isnt then take off the shim...

But if you are like me and others...you will end up modding it (silencer)...

One bad thing about the Silencer is it doesnt cool the ram chips...you will have to get some ramsinks to cool the memory...
