Cant get Serial HD to detect on new DFI Infinity setup, please help quick!

I have a barton 2500+ and a DFI Infinity board along with some Hyper X ram and a 80gig barracuda HD that is detected when loading post and then the screen that says Raid config and then it shows my HD correctly under that screen, in that screen I went in (CTRL S) and did a low level format, booting off of CD (win xp) and will not find HD, I'm not running raid, so do I still need to do the F6 and load drivers? Please help I wanna get it up and going tonite!!

Yep as far as i know you still have to load the drivers
