intel newbie question

hi all
how do you tell if hyperthreading is enabled or not?
if it isn't enabled how do i enable it?

the cpu is an intel 3.2ghz not sure what one as it's a friends puter and he won't let me inside as he only got it saturday

When the computer posts it should say wether or not HT is enabled.

If it is not enabled it will be listed as an option somewhere in the BIOS.

Consult your manual to find out exactly where.
