Klipsch Promedia 4.2

OK so I was lookin at Klipsch promedia speakers systems, and I am interested in the Promedia 4.2 system. They describe it as 2 2.1 promedia systems...is that exactly what it is? Is it the same thing as buying 2 2.1 systems? Or are there any differences at all. Please tell me any differences even if its the smallest thing.

You are correct. The set is basicly two PM2.1 sets sold together. The bass is purported to be slightly more powerful.

thanks, I think this is my best bet because I can buy one set of 2.1's now and then if I want to later get the second set. I wish I had the cash for the promedia 5.1 system! Anyone know of other great 5.1 systems?

Some of the Logitech 5.1 sets are supposed to be pretty good, but boomy on the bass.

lol, I don't think the klipsch ProMedia 2.1's put out enough bass! It goes boom, but doesn't shake the whole house (or maybe it's so loud I can't tell). I wish it was more powerfull, maybe more like a KSW-12.

Well, do the math. A 6.5" woofer is not going to displace as much air as a 10" or 12" dedicated high excursion woofer, or go as low. Come on, it's a computer speaker!
