Question about adding RAM

I have 2 sticks of Kingston HyperX PC3500 CAS2 256mb and I wanna add 2 512mb sticks. Am I correct to assume that I should get 2 sticks of the exact same RAM, but, 512mb sticks instead?

wow.. so you will have 1.5 gigs of ram..

Well I would assume that it would be the same with Intel as AMD.. you should get the same brand\speed\revison.. less chance of incompatibility..
