Hello!! I am wondering what the best celeron is the best for overclocking. I heard that 1 of the best is the 700 celeron. I am going to buy the 800 because I heard it rocks major a**. what do you reccomend????

I recommend you observe our language rules. I've already edited another post of yours.

If you want to overclock you should get a celeron up to 667MHz not more.. the 700 and up have very high multiplier. Get 667 for example and if you are lucky you can get even 1200 on default voltage ,, i have seen that. My CPU is 667 and is running at 1030 and 1.8 voltage with no problem. I also got one Celeron 800 runing at 1120 at 1.9volts..
so if you are buyung a celeron i suggest something between 566 and 667 or 800, but i personaly prefer 667 (cheaper and also gives good speeds). One more thing you should get a celeron with cC0 stepping...

667 is pretty borderline.

Some say its too high of a mult, some dont.

A 600 or 633 always yield good results. But if I would choose one the 800 would be it.

I just bought my 800 and it's overclocked fine for me. I'm running at 992MHz at the default voltage and a 124MHz system bus. It's been working great for me. I would recommend it over the 700 because it has a much lower multiplier which is better for overclocking possibilities due to the smaller increase in CPU bus speed per FSB overclock. The 700 should have a 10.5 multiplier whereas the 800 has an 8. So at 124MHz FSB the 700 would be trying to run at 1302MHz and the 800 would only be at 992. Bottom line, I have an 800 @ 992 which is close enough to 1GHz for me. It's stable and I would recommend it.
