ABIT EQ problems

Just build a new system and am using a 2.8Ghz "Northwood" (800FSB) and an Abit AI7 mobo.
Problem is when i load ABIT EQ loads the system starts beeping at me like crazy untill i close it. The CPU fan RPM is about 2700 and in red, which is what i think is causing the beeping. Im using the retail intel fan and the CPU temp is about 44 degrees. I dont see the problem.

Could be the program wants you to lower the fan RPM

How do you change the CPU fan speed?

Am using an intel retail CPU fan?? can you change the speed?? and how??

Ahh, that I don't know.......with this being an AMD board and all.....
