I bought an 2500 Barton Mobile today. It goes to 200x12.5 no problem. But when I try 200x13 it sees it as a 1000Mhz CPU. And using CPUZ it says it's clocked 200x5.

Waddup.

Oh yeh. Asus A7N8X MOBO
512 Samsung 3200 Ram (recommended timeings?)
And a Zalman CNPS7000A Fan

On that mobo you got to paint a bridge. If it's painted, then you get 13+, otherwise, 5-12.5

From the sticky,
All XP2100+ and higher processors will be unlocked from the factory for multipliers 13-18.5 on ALL MOTHERBOARDS that support these processors. In order to adjust the 5-12.5 multipliers on the XP2100+ and higher processors you need to join the 5th/right-most L3 bridge. See this thread for explanation.*
