please don't complain. If you don't like them, ignore them. This is a place for everyone to get help. Yes, these questions come up a lot, we are addressing them with the FAQ project. But there are lots of people who don't know this(including me when I first came here) and need to know it. Like i said, you can ignore these posts if you like.
With the way the member count here is rising you will get a lot of newbies to our hobby! Even though we don't like to admit it we were all newbies to at one point, even me, well maybe not me :) So just try to have a little patience and help out if possible even if it is now becomeing repetative.
I realize that most of the questions that I ask are "basic questions", but I would like to thank everybody that has been helping me out. I now am the "go to" guy for many of my friends, and family, and I owe it all to the 8305+ members of this board, ok maybe 8304....hahahhahaha
My first question when I came to this board (actually the old one) in April 2000 was:
"I have a Celeron 533A Coppermine on a Soyo7VCA. How do I overclock it?"
Tim Payne one of our oldest Senior Members, went out of his way for 2 weeks and emailed me almost daily to help me get it to 800MHz.
I owe every new person who comes to this board the same help he gave me...no questions asked.

Here's a thought to add.
You will never understand anything until you know the basics.
We all start at the bottom and without a strong base your potato mountian will tip over.

<-------- Still a Newbie.
I like the attitudes of most the people here as Im probably still considered a newbie to overclocking...I got a lot of helpa nd I succesfully overclocked my 350p2 to 504mhz although the temps are mcuh lower at 480mhz...I mean, how could I have even imagined doing it without help? And all of you did that...
Like ken257 said, "Even though we don't like to admit it we were all newbies to at one point, even me, well maybe not me :)" Well said....Well said...

i agree, there are no stupid questions here, however i also think many people also need to read the turtorials before posting stuff on the message board....most questions can be answered right there, also the cpu database is a very important tool...

There's some days its hard to find a post because its so slow so i'll take any question i can get and the easier the better allthough i do like a challenge :) besides adding post towards yellow stars its the only way to get blue ones.

The only time basic questions bother me is when you have the same question on the board at the same time. I enjoy helping (when its a simple enough question for me :) ) but peeps need to read a little before posting.

Why all the questions? Because there there! And I'd just like to say thanks for all the answers.
