System in sig. WD800jb.

Got some pc3200 in there so I *had* to start pushing the FSB. Kinda fried an mx460 at about 182 FSB. Swapped it into another comp and the thing won't go into windows above stock speed anymore. My first fried component. Thanks all. :)

Put in the TI200 and it wasa fine at 182x. Ran at 184 stable for a while. Bumped it up to 185. Fast, hot and normal for a few days but lately I've had occasion shutdown problems, problems with sound on DVDs, programs not shutting down properly, etc. Back at 182 but still having the same problems.

What symptoms would I see if I corrupted the registry?

WIN98se.

Ok thanks. I'm glad I can rule that out.

definately unstable, its the OC for sure. I would wait till you get some more quality parts before you OC, because as you saw, it not only effects the ram and processor, but the video card as well. The FSB is the above three.
