i want to know if this is a good radiator since the specs are a little brief as in none just that it fits a 120mm fan.

For $30, no.
That type of rads is very restrictive.

also i heard that heatercores give more flow but do they actually cool better? just wondering

Ye you can get one from DD. But if you want a pre-painted one you can get one from Dtek custom
The heatercores are the best for rad right now, so dont spend time looking for commercial bs product.

note that dtek have discontinued the pro-core now - their current core (the JR-120) is a bit smaller.....
