If I go dual with two of those, what heatsink/fan should I get? With that heatsink/fan, on a PC-DL, what can i expect to get with a good PSU/Ram?

Its mostly SMP guys over there, buy given that it IS mostly SMP guys, most are xeon/opteron/AMP owners. I've heard many reports of people taking 3.06 xeons to 3.8, although i'm not 100% sure how far they'll go.
you'll probably have more luck with them.

I had a 2.8 dual XEON 533/512 on a PC-DL. Make sure you get the newest board version 1.05. It will OC only as high as 165 FSBx21=3465 on those processors.
Hope this helps,

Only and I mean ONLY problem with my past rig- (2) Intel 2.8 533/512 Xeons were the Noise. The stock twin fans were loud- LOUD. If noise is not an issue, then this is the Greatest Multitasking, power system you can get. I dare you to try to bog it down.
I sold it because of the noise of the fans. I have a 3.2C on an Intel D875PBZ board. Slower, but it works for me.
I miss the spped and multitaking abilities of my last system.
You will love the system if noise is not at all a concern.
Hope this helps,
Stan

noise is never a problem..but now i am re-considering and plan to wait untill summer to see what is in my price range. I want to go 64bit, but i see it being a year or two before 64 bit is widespread or manditory. Did you overclock your procs any?
