call of duty freezing

My call of duty has started freezing my PC... first game freezs then color and picture F***S up and 1/2 the time it will restart after that.. What may be up?

Uh, what driver version you using? Catalyst 3.8 I think had a problem with Call of Duty, but was fixed in later versions.

Yep, sounds exactly like the problem he is having...just get the 4.3 Cats, and all will be fine.

yea i got 3.9 trying now.....

If I recall right, the 3.9 still has some probs, not as may as 3.8 but still some. Try the most recent ones, 4.3 (geez they come out with a lot of driver. . .)

it could also be your sound card, I had to turn down the performance on my card a bit (thru windows) and that helped with the freezes.
