I just gave a friend of mine the old P1 166MMX. I easily overclocked it to 200MHz, just by changing dipswitches...
some of arent so lucky mines has no jumpers the bios wont update and i cant find a good specs sheet to see how high the volts will go there alreasy at max it was meant for.:(
The difference between a 130hp Pinto and 150hp Pinto is nominal.

so true pinky, i think it is futile to bother with the old ones the gain is so small it really not woth it and the mobo's have terrible support for o/c'ing, but i supose if you want to more power too ya rob
a challenge is what i want and thats what im going ot get A.

Well you could try getting a new Motherboard or even a new bios chip. I had a link for it I though. I'll have to find it and post it.
My lovely P-90 will only overclock to 100 (66.6 x 1.5) and even that's not stable! I'm guessing I just need to cough up some money for more cooling than the HSF that came with the comp, and get a different chip (I heard that the FPU is sensitive to OCing and mine has the floating point bug... Not good for an OC...).
