i mean the ceramic paste that comes with the sp97? I am about ready to shoot for 3 gighz on air........

its decent. i ran it in my 900 and my temps ran 104'f to 108'f with arctic they dropped to 99'f to 104'f

It's adequate but not as good as Arctic Silver 5 but that's not what's going to stop you from reaching 3 GHz. What do you mean 3 GHz, you mean with a mobile? With liquid nitrogen maybe and only to boot briefly.

Although few lucky ones got it to 2.8, it's still great to hit 2.5 with them.

How about 2.9 on air? (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2589217&highlight=2901MHz#post2589217) :-) It was stable only long enough to take the screenie.

From what I have read, the SP97 is better by about 3 to 4 C than a SLK-900 which is usually considered as next best.

For Tbred B/Barton on air, that 3 to 4 C would translate to around 1.2 - 1.6% at around 2.5 GHz overclocking, which is around 30 - 40 MHz.
