which heatsink

i am going to mod my ati 9700 pro. I made up some homeade ramsinks that will span between 2 ramchips each that i will put on. and i am also deciding on what heatsink to use. I currently have a stock intel (aluminum and bigger then the amd), and a stock amd (smaller but copper) heatsink at my disposal. which do you guys recommend. also i am going to put a temp sensor on the thing, i heard that next to the gpu is the place to put it can anyone verify this and also give more of a detailed description of where to put it and how to attach it.

Well...I justtried to install an Extreme Giant 3...I wouldnt reccommend them to anyone with a 9700/9800 pro card.The bottom HS didnt even come close to touching the underneath of the othe GPU......cant believe I spent $35 for a HS that couldnt even fit correctly...maybe I did something wrong...if anyone else has a 9800 pro and had success...please add a comment
