I have CPU-Z and here are some of the specs off the chip,

Family 6
Model 8
Stepping 3
Brand ID 2
Core Stepping cB0

Under the features tab where it says Multi Processor Support it has no.
Does this mean that my 550 wont work in a dual CPU setup?

Your either running some version of win9x or win2k with the uniprocessor HAL aren't you? It will always say this. That's normal. On my Tyan Tiger 100 with dual 700Mhz Cb0s if I boot win98 and run one of those CPUid programs it says the same thing. That just means that multiprocessor support hasn't been enabled by the operating system or the HAL. If your P3 is a CB0 stepping it should support multiprocessing. So, when you add your second CPU and install win2k or install the multiprocessor HAL (if your already running win2k) this will change.

Don't listen to that 3rd Party program. Go into your device manager, and under Computer (the top one) click the + and see what it says under it. It will say uni or multi CPU system. If it says uni and you are running duals you will need to load the SMP kernel.

All you have to do for this is go into the properites of Uniprocessor system and update the driver, tell it to show all devices that fit, and select multiprocessor system. And after that you should be good to go.
