first time overclocking help please

This is my first time overclocking . My Gigabyte Ga7vax board has a program called easy tune 4 . I looks simple . I upped the mhz a few click and i was watching my temps . It was at 20.86.71 mhz and the bus was 167 . I got up as far as 2200 - 176 . My temps were still ok . They raised up a little . I dont know how fast i actully increased the cpu speed ? And i really didnt see much improvement . How do i know the speed that i increased too ?
Also how to I overclock my vid card . Thx

Gigabyte Motherboard - Ga7VAX - Athlon 2800 Barton/antec fan/hs - 3200 ddr (1 gig ) gforce 5700 ultra . 80 gig WD HD 8mb cache .

ok stock the 2800 is 12.5x166 = 2080Mhz , you clocked yous to 12.5x176 = 2200Mhz , so you a oc'ed 120Mhz

in not sure on video card Oc'ing
