Hey, I woke up this morning with this question. Does watercooling and/or vapo use up less electricity as opposed to running 5+ case fans?

No...

Watercooling still requires fans, and a pump of 20-35watts.

A normal case fan is maybe 3 watts.

You do the math.

A prometia takes like 150-200watts to run, so it uses a decent amount of energy.

A 226watt pelt at 15V will take over 350watt to run.

You will probably need to go passive route to save any energy over 5 volt fans.
Like say huge heatpipes.
Or that heatpiped case they sell in Europe.
Or just plain 5 pound chunk of copper sitting on top of CPU will do the trick. Just make sure you use thermal compound.
