Memtest Error

Whever I test each stick invidually at 2.6v 2-3-2-5 I let it run for 7 minutes no errors. Then why I put them both in I get an error about 4 min in. Why does it get farther with 1 stick in than with both in?

why dont you try giving em all the volts you got and see

Because I want see if it can run at what Patriot says it supposed to run at

2.6v
200mhz
2-3-2-5

My fsb is only at 167mhz right now but the ratio is 5:6 so the ram frequency is 200mhz.

well obviously its not gonna run at 2.6v just give them the vdimm they need which is more then 2.6v

What I'm saying is when I run memtest on each stick individually I let it go for about 7-8 minutes with no errors then when I test both at the same time it goes for only 3 or so minutes and I get an error.

up your Vdimm with both of them in...what dont you understand...

I understand what you're saying. But why does it run like it's supposed to individually and why doesn't it when they are together. I'm not trying to ask for a fix. I know that if I raised the vdimm that it would pass memtest. Do you understand?

did they come in a dual channel package or did you buy them seprately????

Dual pack running in single channel.

put dual mode on see what happenz....if not there is really nothing you can do about it but up your Vdimm

you can alwayz go wit komusa adata pc4200 memory...they do 300FSB 1:1!!
