hey jsut curious as to how active ipv6, like is it being used alot now-a-days or whats goin on with it?

A few of the Root servers (http://www.root-servers.org/) have ipv6 IP's but I dunno how to use then yet :-/

I use ipv6 at home. I tunnel through a box I have colo'd to get my lan onto the ipv6 internet. The big irc networks have ipv6 servers.

Course there's no killer app that will make you REALLY want to have it I suppose. I like being able to have all my computers be globally addressible. Controlling reverse dns on my ips is nice too.

And having over 4 billion times as many ips as are theoretically available for use on the ipv4 Internet for piddly little me to use on my lan is nice for satisfying my geek lust.
