I thinking about making a custom case for an old microATX board i have lying around. i want the case to be no more than 13x13x3.5 is at all p[ossible this leaves me with little room for the heatsink, but the chip in there is just an athlon 700mHz. any ideas for a lower profile heatsink for this? or even a medium profile.

as for specs for the case, i am unclear yet, im just tossing the ideas around. nothing too special, so ideas for this are welcome as well.

also, motherboard has built in video and sound, so i will be using no PCI/AGP

Not sure who makes the best one, but you could look into a 1U or a 2U sized heatsink...the ones that go on rackmounts, you know?

This is waht I found on newegg...there might be more SPEEZE Low Profile HS (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=35-150-029&depa=1)

Good luck on the case, and post up the designs! We all want to see those :)

yea, i was lookin at 1U low profiles, but i hadnt seen that one. only a thermaltake and a vantec on other sites. that is the cheapest one so far, so thanks for the find :D

and will do on the pics, given i can have to access to one of the 2 digicams that people i know own.
