I was wondering if ne1 knows of a small electric cooling device like a small fridge or small electric cooler that I can stick inside my pc to make the air colder. It has to be about 6" tall an 5"wide. A pelt is outa the question.

It won't be a very good idea to run a compressor inside your case, these things use 110/230VAC and their magnetic field extends quite far. I would't do it if I were you. This is just a warning, do as you like. And if it works post some pics and results plz. After watercooling this is the next step ;) Overclockers get crazier by the day, and I like that :D

Yeah, that looks close. The only thing is I don't think it'd work in the place I have to mount it at. But thanks for the addy.

Check out this link for thermoelectic cooling units
http://www.tetech.com/assys/air.html

Their prices range from 335-935 for a single unit....
BTW does anyone know what the approximate heat output would be from an overclocked 1.4ghz Tbird??

Theirs no way I'm paying $335 for the smallest air cooler they have (its still too big). I even looked at the cold plates an they cost $235, it the smallest one could work.

I was looking for something a little more ghetto (cheaper). Maybe something that I could possibly mod to fit in my case. Thx for the addy though. :)
