Just like most Logitech and Labtec sub grills, they are just glued in at four different points. You can see where there are four extra grey plastic tabs through the grill. That is where the grill is glued in. I managed to pry mine off working at points beside these tabs. Once this is done, the grey ring can be taken off by removing the screws, then the sub and the conductor clips.
I bent the grill around the edge a little, and marked up the grey ring a little but they can both be reinstalled and you would hardly tell the difference.
Looks much better with it off in my opinion.:cool: I think that it would probably be wise to keep the sun from shining on the surround though, but then again, it might be ok too.:)
