Better cooling worth it in my case?

hey,

Im soon to make the jump to water cooling! One question though, i have a gf4 4600 with a pretty good overclock on the core (in sig) using stock cooling just with some AS5.

My question is, am i likely to gain much more out of the core if it is water cooled? I know this is a hard question to answer because every peice of hardware is different. but do you think its heat that is stopping me overclock the core more, or lack of juice?

Maybe i should be asking what he highest overclock people have/seen with good cooling on one of these cards.

When i put the AS5 on the core that gave me about 5hmz more on the core, so maybe it is just heat?
