please suggest an athlon 64 mobo

hey guyz maybe someone can help me out...im thinking about getting an athlon 64 3000+..would i notice any difference..i currently have a xp 2600....also please any suggestions on a great motherboard for gaming/oc'ing.. thanx in advance

the new n3 250 is coming it is 4 the 754 and 939 socket but it has locks for the agp and pci so overclocking will be nice.it will be single channel mem for the 754 but the 939s will be dual .
