My durn MIC no longer works. Everything worked fine with 1.5
Whats going on.
It seems as if the vocie config does not work.
The mic works in Windows. I think that CS for some reason is not unmuting it when I press the voice key.
Any Ideas?

Are my problems just too hard for people?
I never seem to get a good response rate.

did you run the voice config utility, are you're sound drivers up to date?

Yes, and the voice config seems not to work. I cannot hear myself no matter how high the volume is.
If I unmute the mic in windows I can hear myself, the mic works.
Yes, most recent sound drivers too. I wonder if there is a conflict with the onboard sound even though its disabled. Im going to check that.
Do you have enable boost after input checked? That can sometimes make it muted. Can you hear other people talking?

Reinstalled Steam, and then the sound drivers. Figures it works now. No settings changed.
Steam is the most useless application ever.

Yeah I have tried that too. Its not better than telephone. There is not much better than telephone.
VoIP is going to be pretty big some day. Just need the right equipment. Some large Corps use it to link up offices, you can save millions on long distance.
