My Thouroughbred B AMD 2100+ Is locked!!

Wtf!! its locked i cant change it from 13 or else it doesnt boot the first time i have to power off and power on , i dont know the weeks im @ 164x13 with a volcano 12 and corsair xms 3200 512mb i want to go higher... this sucks

AMD started die-locking (superlocking) chips after week number 039. Find out what your processor's part/serial/stepping numbers are (they're on a label on the grid background of the processor). The odds are it's die-locked.

2 possibilities either die locked as pointed out or your mobo does not support the 8x bit set to high (only support for 4 FID's not 5) - hence you cant change the 13 multi

i have a Soyo KT333 Ultra Dragon Platinum edition. Does it not support 8x bit ? what ever that means -_- sry im only 14

It's your motherboard. This CPU is factory unlocked.

Post the date it was manufactured and you'll see.
