I'm looking into DDR here lately and I was wondering about DDR memory. Which is the better, pc2400,pc 2100, or pc1600?
2400=150mhz
2100=133mhz
1600=100mhz
2400 is not a offical standard just like sdram 150 or 166 its really just 2100 thats been tested to run at 2400.

Oh I think I see. So the better buy would be 2400?
Either I trade my Kingmax in for the Tomicon or buy DDR now for the future. What do you think? Anyone?
ThanX
Tough question to answer.
If you plan to upgrade to a ddr soon only board then I would get
the ddr.
2700 ddr is supposed to be available ina couple months.
If you dont then the tonicon sdram.

There are more mobos that support the "dual" soltuion if your interested. I have the A7A266, and the shuttle ak32 both supprt SDRAM and DDR.
Although the A7a266 has given me fits wiith the second DDR slot, it's a very O'clockable mobo ;)
