will ECC Registered memory from corsair work on my mobo

my mobo is an asus p4c800-E Dlx with a p4 2.8 800 fbs cpu

1GB(512MBx2) ECC Registered DDR PC-3200LL

corsair memory ECC registered work on it?

Also how is ECC mem for OCing?

If the P4C800 is the same as my P4P800 then no you can't use ECC memory. Registered is ok but ECC will not work

The P4C800 uses the 875P chipset, which supports ECC memory, so while I have never actually seen anyone do it, you should be able to run ECC memory.

Remember, the Canterwood boards (875P) were originally marketted as server/workstation boards, hence the ECC.

I don't have any experience, but I wouldn't think ECC overclocks very well. Comments?
