Differing Memory Speeds

Simple question. I was wondering if you can have two (2) 256 meg sticks of memory rated at different speeds run on a board. Letts say a stick of 2100 and a stick of 2700. Do they both have to be rated at the same speeds to work properly. thanks!!

It'll work fine. The PC2700 will underclock to PC2100 speed.
