I believe suppport for USB 2.0 is included in XP SP1. Make sure it's also enabled in the BIOS setup.

ya, i got sp1, and installed it and then reinstalled my chipset drivers, and my usb device runs at a score index of 100 when it is capable of many times that. Do i need anything else? This system is the system in my sig.

I'd guess that when you reinstalled the chipset drivers you reinstalled the USB 1.1 drivers

thing is, before i reinstalled the chipset drivers it was just as slow...
sp1 then reinstall the mb drivers.
