Help I need a new MOBO

Well I have been running a SOYO KT-400 Ultra for alil over a year now and about 2 weeks ago it died on me. So I am on the market to get a new MOBO and I dont know where to start looking. I want to get into overclocking and I have alwase been a fan of AMD but I would be willing to go to a P4, I want to go with a board that is very newbie friendly but will also give me all the options that i would ever need.
