I just installed this fan and can recommend it. It has a 4-pin molex connector for power, plus a 3-pin connector solely for RPM monitoring. The specs say 6800 rpm I have it running at 7500 to 7620 rpm on my ThermoEngine. Does a nice job without burning out your fan header.

Not in an irritating way. I mean, any fan running at 7500 rpm+ ain't gonna be quiet. But it keeps my CPU happy at 1.6 GHz.
