Hi could you PLEASE help me out here I have a reall PROBLEM !!

first of all I use a:

AMD TB 1100
Abit KT7

Okay I will tell you exactly what I did !!
I made a bootdisk (BIOS Flash ready)
I started the disk (in Dos) and ran the program and I back-upped my old BIOS !! Now I let the program do his work and when it was done I could choose F1:Reset of F10:Exit so I chose F10 and I got send back to my "a:\" okay I thought it's all done so now I restart and I'm all ready to go. So I Ctrl-Alt-Del'ted but when I did that, the computer started (no Monitor Signal) and made 4 long Sqeaking noises like.... tiiiiii tiiiiii tiiiii tiiiii and THEN it just shutted down automaticly !! I don't know if I had to choose F1:Reset but this cannot happen right ?? I back-upped my Old BIOS but how can I even start my computer ?? I tried to start and reset it many times but it does make the long (4 times) sounds over and over and shut's down !!
Do I have to do something with the jumpers on my motherboard or something to get it back to it's original BIOS ?? PLEASE guys help me out here I'M STUCK !!

I really appreciate all the help I can get !!

I had something similar happen when I tried to flash a BIOS. I contacted SuperMicro, and they said it sounded like the boot sector of the BIOS was corrupted. So I popped off the BIOS chip and sent it to them, and they sent me one back free of charge. Might wanna hop over to Abit's site, and see if they'll RMA the BIOS chip. But that's just my guess from my experiences.

And those jumpers you're asking about? Those clear the CMOS, not the BIOS. The BIOS is stored on a chip on the mobo.

Try clearing the cmos unplug the power to the pc when you do it.
Look in your manual for the jumper.
If that fails try holding down the insert key while turning the power on.

Look up the beep code in the motherboard manual.

Mine did something like that awhile back and it scared the *doo-doo* out of me. Turned out the beep was for my video card, so I just took it out and put it back in and it's been fine ever since.

What bios did you upgrade to?
Do you have a fan plugged into the fan header closeet to the ram slots?
I had the same thing when I went from ul to ww and it was because the fan wasn't plugged into the motherboard.
