Looking for a couple 256mb sticks of PC166... did they quit making it?

No Idea if they quit making it but you probably wont find it in the u.s. at a store.
Maybe eBay or somewhere or get the 128mb sticks.

Every now and then someone on Ebay will be selling some. Last time I saw it, someone had a 256mb module on Ebay that went for $37.01; I bid 37.00!!!! lost buy a penny--kinda stinks doesn't it!!!

Watch out I might outbid you if I ever find some on ebay. I have 256 now but I would like to go to 512. I won't settle for anything less than the Tonicom.

If you really need it go to anandtech and post in the fs/trade title it WTB pc166 and you will find a good deal. not 37bucks but still less than 50 adn maybe you could even trade for it.

I also came across this canadian site and looks like they sell the pc166@Cas2/183@cas3, again can't said if that's exactly what they carry and the price is close to a hundred.

OCZ PC166 is made of ot - I have 2*256 Mb PC 166 and 4*128 PC180 :) Tonicom made great chips.
