i just finished one frame in 26 minutes.
one day and 18 hours to finish.

Consider yourself lucky to have a fast cpu like that. From what I see, the deadline is only 8 days!!! :( I don't know if I can make that, I only have my pc on about 10 hours a day, and my first frame took 1 hour 20 minutes.

Big one. What does the PPW calculate out too?

just got this on one of my HT's for one of my 2.6c's. gonna take about 49 hours, but ppw is still pretty good at 520ppw plus the other HT is doing 400ppw on a crappy 33 pointer.

I just opened EMIII and woah I've got three of em. As soon as EM puts up some numbers for frame times I'll let you guys know. This are all on AMDs (2800@2250, 1800@1906 & 1700 pali stock)

Oh and there are two of em. P859_53dimer859 = 160 points

That makes four 160 pointers. Don't know yet if I like that???????

Oops EMIII Screen Shot will be up soon.

Yea I'm doin a little figuring and it looks like these will complete in about the same amount of time as 3 1/2 p520 33 pointers. Thats about a 50 point increase. But  42 hrs to complete.

I have a P859 that just started on 2 machines. Yes, tomorrows production numbers aren't going to be pretty, but Saturday's going to be a fine day:) One rig has completed 3 steps at 22 minutes per step (AMD XP@ 2.3GHz); that's 37 hours.....wow.

I have two of these on my dual. About 33 minutes per frame. 54 hours total WU time. My friend's P4 also has 2.

I've got 3 now, they break down like this:

2.48ghz XP - 20:40 per frame or 34 hours 26 minutes per unit
2.16ghz XP - 23:58 per frame or 39 hours 56 minutes per unit
2.2ghz Duron - 27:12 per frame or 45 hours 20 minutes per unit

The 2.48ghz XP is getting 780 ppw according to EM3, not too bad I'd say :)

03-19-04, 08:11 AM
On Wed. some beta protiens came out that said 160 points that were going at speeds of 32 pointers. I would have been at 10,000 PPW with just my 4 rigs that had these proteins. Turns out they were mispointed and were really 32 pointers. :( Well these are REAL 160 pointers but they work out to pretty much the same PPW as most other proteins.

iD10t
03-19-04, 08:53 AM
all my machine have managed to get these protiens.
30:06 and 29:30 min/frame on my 3.2 HT both instances.
21:20 min/frame on my friends 2.8 p4
and 19:30 min/frame on my 2.4 p4

i'm soo not getting points today:(

Wow thats huge, I away out of the country right at this time, I wonder if my machines are crunching away at this......They have typicaly been chewing the 72(ish) pointers, so maybe they get these bigguns too!?

Once they start dropping into the stats, it should be business as usual. What we need is a 160 pointer that folds like a 32 pointer :D

Look real close at the actual protein name. I have two clients going on my HT machine and they both indicate 160 pointer / 31.5 points per frame. However after studying it a while I noticed that one of them is actually a 520_bba5_ pf/33points.

See how the 2.2 duron is taking longer than the 2.16 XP? I know that larger cache doesn't affect FAH, but how do you explain this? Could it be these new protiens are taking advantage of larger caches? Or has this Duron/XP gap always existed at equal speeds?

Tismedt
03-21-04, 09:39 PM
Well I don't know about the duron/xp gap but I know I now have 9 out of 10 on my farm. I still wonder about the flood factor. Why so many at once?
