HEy guys,

I just got an FSP-400 and hooked it up, everything seems fine, except for the +12V. Have a look at this:

+12V: 11.35V
-12V: 12.2V
+5V: 4.97V
-5V: 5.14
+3.3V: 3.23V

See the low +12V? its pretty stable though, i have approx 55W of fans and if i turn them all on or off the voltage only fluctuates about 0.1V...

Is this too low? seeing as how these PS's have such a good rep i would have expected better results....

anyone?

well first of all, did u get these readings from a software temp checker thing? if so, then the volts arent accurate, u have to go to a molex with a DMM (digital multi-meter) and measure the 12v, that will give u far more accurate readings

yep did that, MM sys 11.70V, still seems a little low for such a highly regarded PSU

well the voltage on the fsp-400 on the 12v rail is only supposed to go about -/+ 5% and that is 11.4v-12.6v so ur rail is still in spec, ur fine
