I just got a new AN7.

I'm currently running all components (PC2700, Barton 2500+, 74 GB Raptor HDD) in spec, just trying to set the system up.

I installed XP and SP1, and then the Nforce drivers from the supplied CD and the latest Nvidia drivers for my Geforce 4200Ti. Whammo - totally unstable. I can't even get through an MS Office installation without getting one blue screen of death or another.

Now, it's become unbootable. I'm going to try safe mode tonight to replace some of the drivers and flash the bios.

Has anyone else had any stability problems with this board?

One of the BSODs cited nv4_mini.sys.

Any ideas?

"nv4_mini.sys" is part of your video card drivers. What drivers are you using? Omegas?

I'm using the latest version, 56.64.

Maybe you should try the sub 5x.xx series, like the 43.xx?

Found the problem - a bad memory stick.

BTW, you should really try using the 43.xx series drivers for you Geforce4 card. it will make a difference.

Hey, does anyone know how to disable the audible warnings on this AN7?

When I put the voltage above 1.9V (I need about 1.97V) to run stable at 2.5Ghz) the damned thing just won't shut up.

I've had to disconnect my PC speaker. I can't find anywhere in the bios to disable this.
