Greybar: Barton @ 2.4ghz/Ti4200 stock.
Dark bar: 2.2ghz barton and Ti4200 @ 310/610.

See a problem?

A ti4200 stock Vs a ti4200 at over Ti4600 speeds and it loses in nature? its over 60 core and 100 memory mhz!

much of 01 is cpu speed too, a better representation of what a game is like. Nature uses some features that push the video card, while it also requires much computation from the CPU as well, so there is nothing wrong with what is displayed. How can you put out a fire if you only have a 10 gpm pump pulling water from a muddy pool?

are both systems the same except what you told us? same drivers? etc etc

Its *MY* system, but just the barton clocked to 2.2ghz with a Ti4200 running 310/610, and a Ti4200 stock with the same barton @ 2.4ghz.

so... its obvious that youd get these results... at some tests the CPU difference will also come into play.

I just dont see how 200mhz would make THAT much of a difference...

Most of the 3dmark2001 tests will score higher w/ higher FSB speeds as well as faster clock speed and tighter RAM timing.
That's why the score of the stock speed vid card is almost the same as the overclocked vid card.
